General Comments: This show was run by the
South Florida Region of the
AACA and was well attended by both Club members
and non-members. There were a wide variety of cars to view and the show seemed
to be a big success from the standpoint of foot traffic by the spectators. I had
numerous individuals, both young and old, stop by my car and ask a wide variety
of questions, as well as compliment the great shape the car is in for a 1978
weekend driven car.
The downsides of the show were few, but included the lack of pre-determined car
classes, invisible judging and poor awards presentation, specifically, rushing
through the presentation and not fully identifying the winning car and owner.
Overall, I give the show a seven and plan on returning again next year. Soupy -
