General Comments:
The participation was excellent and there were a lot of classic cars and a few
not so classic that attended the event. It was billed as a car show, but the
organization that ran the event, in my opinion, should have done a better job
with the car classes that were given awards, especially considering the number
of vehicles that attended this event. I heard a few people talking while,
walking away after the awards were presented, that they wouldn't be attending
unless something is changed. For example, the Vette guys weren't to happy that
their classes included large spans of years, the Pontiac guys were miffed that
the only class they could enter was muscle or open car, and then that award was
presented to some car from the 90's that, again, in my opinion, doesn't classify
as a real true muscle car. An award like that should be presented to a classic
muscle car from the 70's or early 80's. There were a number of GTO's and
Firebirds there that received zero recognition.
